When using the product with an Android mobile phone, an official Type-C to 3.5mm adapter is required. This adapter cable is also not included in the package. The Type-C port on the WEC receiver does not currently support connecting to a cell phone; a Type-C to 3.5mm adapter cable is needed. The WEC does support Type-C audio data transfer, and it also supports PC charging via the Type-C port.
